Finance (Contract)
Seviora Group (“Seviora”) is a Singapore-headquartered, Temasek-owned independent asset management group with approximately US$72 billion in assets under management. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Independently manage monthly book closing for several entities, including an overseas entity covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, staff claims and reimbursements.
- Liaise independently with external auditors and tax consultants to support statutory audits and tax filings.
- Prepare year-end financial statements and annual budgets for the assigned entities.
- Perform group consolidation for a sub-group of entities.
- Review, maintain and improve Group accounting policies and related documentation.
- Participate in new projects (e.g. process improvements, system enhancements, new entity or product setup) as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related discipline.
- Proven relevant experience (at least 5 years) in corporate accounting within the financial services industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, pivots, data analysis).
- Positive attitude, keen to learn and willing to take on new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple timelines & priorities.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion and FCCS (or other consolidation systems) is preferred.
- Consolidation knowledge with Funds industry background is an added advantage.
Manager / Associate Director
Sustainability (Sustainable Investment Research)
Established in 2020 and with AuM approximating US$55 billion, Seviora Group (“Seviora”) is a Singapore- based asset management group. Through its outstanding asset management companies (“AMCs”), the group provides investors access to a wide range of multi-asset and multi strategies investment expertise in both active and alternative strategies, covering Asia and global.
Seviora is a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Thematic and Sustainable Investment Research:
- Monitor market developments in Sustainability and ESG policy globally and highlight investment implications to investment engines
- Conduct top-down research on how Sustainability trends will impact long term macro- economic variables, sector and security selection implications
- Harness insights to identify and evaluate emerging ESG risks and opportunities and new investment opportunities
- Write and publish thought leadership pieces on Sustainability trends and investment implications
- Portfolio development and company engagement:
- Partner with investment teams to engage portfolio companies on financially material ESG and Sustainability issues
- Assist investment engines in ESG due diligence capabilities and ESG value creation levers
- External Partnerships and Business Development:
- Assist in the development of targeted networks, strategic partnerships, and representation at industry organizations
- Assist Head of Sustainability in preparation of materials for external presentations at industry events
Qualifications
- Proven relevant experience (at least 8 years) in investing and/or investment research within the financial services industry
- Relevant experience in ESG assessment, data, frameworks, reporting and up to date with industry best practices is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills required
- Ability to interact with a range of stakeholders internally and externally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple timelines & priorities
- Strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
