Manager

Legal

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and support to various departments within the organization on legal, regulatory, internal compliance and governance matters.
  • Involve in the formation, on-going activities and winding down of fund investments.
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents including limited partnership agreement, investment management agreement, shareholder agreement, and sale and purchase agreement.
  • Develop internal governance policies and legal framework; ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Manage and oversee litigation matters.
  • Manager external legal counsel.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in law or related discipline from a recognised university with at least 7 years PQE in financial institutions.
  • Experience in merger & acquisition transaction or fund management preferred.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, confidence and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, independent and able to multi-task.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
